Gulped (verb)

1. Swallowed something quickly and with a single strong movement, often because you were hungry, nervous, or surprised.
2. Drank a mouthful quickly, usually in one go, sometimes because the drink was hot or you were thirsty.
3. Took in something quickly and in large amounts, such as information or air, as if you could not wait.
